A mixed program of jazz standards and big-band classics featuring Brown University Professor of Music and pianist Dana Gooley. Led by conductor and trombonist Matthew McGarrell since 1984, the Brown University Jazz Band is an eighteen-member big band that is well versed in jazz classics and modern works alike, and has a special affinity for Latin Jazz.
