Band - Danil Zverkhanovsky Quartet

Born in 1994 in Kyiv, Danil Zverkhanovsky has been studying music for the last decade, focusing on guitar and improvisation. After graduating from a music college in Kyiv he has moved to Austria to study at the University of Arts Graz and eventually relocated to Berlin. He completed his bachelor studies at the Jazz Institute Berlin, with Kurt Rosenwinkel and Greg Cohen among his teachers.
Danil is a prize-winner of MM Jazzfestival 2013 and a semi-finalist of the Montreux Jazz Electric Guitar Competition 2013 and Riga Jazz Stage 2017.
Danil’s music is a result of the search for an original language that suits modern environment.
He prefers to play archtop guitars, gravitating towards a more acoustic tone.
