In the early spring of 2005 the jazz arranger/singer Emil Bovbjerg founded his first jazz septet during his studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. The group sprang out from the vibrant community of musicians from around the world surrounding the Berklee campus, and featured some of the most promising young talents in the Boston area at the time. It was mainly through this group and the compositions and arrangements written for it, that the, Danish born, arranger & singer earned his skills and reputation as a bandleader.
