Band - Fai Baba

Fai Baba is a Swiss Psychedelic, Garage and Soul man based in Zürich, Switzerland. The group consists of Fabian Sigmund (Lead Guitar, Vocals) and changing members, for the time Frank Mottier (Drums) and Luckas Müller (Bass). Fai Baba incorporate sounds of early R&B, Psychedelic Rock, UK Blues, Folk and Soul.

Fabian Sigmund originally from Zürich, Switzerland founded Fai Baba in 2008 when he came back from a spiritual journey trough India. Fai Baba toured solo playing guitar and looping percussions, vocals and guitar-noises. Hes debut album "Love Sikk" released 2010 picked up by A Tree In A Field Records.

It’s winter 10/11 when Fai Baba flies to New York. Without further ado he gathers a band around him consisting of members of Viva L’American Death Ray Music, whom he met weeks before in Zürich, Switzerland. They play a couple of gigs under the moniker of Fai Baba and the Creamy Close-Ups and casually released the 7" single "Shine A Light".
