Brazil will take over OHM this summer - or at least for a whole night of musical delights presented by some of the country's rising stars.

This OHM Brazilian showcase features Repetentes 2008, one of the many aliases of Gabriel "Guerrinha" Guerra (from the 40% Foda/Maneiríssimo posse), who's about to release in September an album called Boulderball on the excellent Future Times label - an artist that you can expect to play some fast, angular beats with crazy slap basslines and freaky ...

... synths on his live PA.

Also on the menu there's Selvagem, the DJ/production duo that is known for their Brazilian edits (released on labels such as Beats in Space and Disco Deviance) and for their anarchic, multi-cultural DJ sets, but this year they're coming up with a newly-born label called Selva Discos (specialized in presenting overlooked, exquisite Brazilian music), which is reissuing the holy-grail Brasileira LP by Maria Rita and also a remixes 12" featuring theirs and Carrot Green take on the banger "Kamaiurá", both in the pipeline for this summer.

And last but not least there's Gop Tun, the party collective responsible for organizing Dekmantel in Sao Paulo, and also for bringing some of the world's best DJs to their parties. Not only they are great party-throwers but also fine DJs, bringing to this showcase DJ sets by their own Gui Scott, Caio T and TYV.
