With every STAR that glimmers in the sky, there is a story behind the glow. Some stories bad, some stories not so bad. When everything is taken into consideration and then viewed through the telescope, THE STAR still shines. Often times glowing bright other times not so bright. Clouds may obstruct the view, other celestial bodies may have greater intensity yet, THE STAR still shines.

Latonius Jermaine Earl also known as “The Latonius”, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA) and later resided in Los Angeles, CA.(USA) He is an amazing and gifted singer - a master in his vulnerability, so drawn, curious, and loving music; passionately pursuing every chord, note, sound, clef, and key; dreaming, eating, being intimate with, his soul, his spirit, his innermost pulse, he bleeds “music”.

Blessed in the footsteps of his musically inclined parents , both being great singers, “The Latonius” was being exposed to music from the very first days of his life, possessing a special gift running through his veins.
Music, singing, and writing; yes this has always been his expression.
Starting at the tender age of 4, listening and singing with his father and band and not to forget with his mom in the church choir. Jazz, R&B and Gospel music grew to be a big part of his life. As the world turned, “The Latonius” slowly grew up to an ultimately expressive and extraordinary singer.

“The Latonius” has worked with legends such as Tom Hunter Blues, Dwight Robson, Sarah Vaughan, Al Jarreau, and many others. He’s sang and acted in plays and operas (such as Trial by Jury, Hänsel and Gretel, The Wiz, Blues for Mr Charlie, and Carousel and preforming in front of 25.000 people, “The Latonius” made his first step to Germany in 2003, touring every year since then through the United States and Europe with Star Entertainment and Black Artist Entertainment.

“The Latonius” has always felt a strong attraction to Europe, loving the culture, lifestyle, and the people he decided in 2010 to make Hamburg, Germany his home. He’s performing all over Europe and working on his debut album, collaborating with “Be Fly Music” a German production & songwriting team and together taking it to the next level. His first single is expected to be released in early 2012.
