Band - Morten Halle Quartet

Morten Halle has played with a large number of Norwegian bands, and has been active internationally with Jon Balkes Magnetic North Orchestra (1992-2002) and Geir Lysne (1999 to 2009). He has also worked as a producer for Sidsel Endresen and Solveig Slettahjell. He has received the Norwegian states three year grant for artists both as a musician and a composer. Halle has also composed, performed and recorded music for a large number of films, theater and ballet productions.
Sigurd Hole is one of the most sought after bass players of his generation in Norway, collaborating with Norwegian folk music related musicians, combining traditional music with elements of contemporary jazz. He has also for several years worked closely with Jon Eberson at the Norwegian Academy of Music. Sigurd recently joined Tord Gustavsens quartet, replacing as the groups new bass player.
