QUARTZ (Modern jazzmusic from Denmark):

Mads la Cour (tp), Frederik Vedersø (g), Andreas Lang (b), Kasper Christiansen (dr).
QUARTz is an established band on the modern danish jazzscene.
With only one album, “So ein Ding muss ich auch haben”, behind them, they have still managed to reach incredible heights both nationally and internationally with their interesting and entertaining music.
The 4 guys are currently in their late twenties and have been touring extensively in Germany since 2001.
In 2006 they played at the Annual Jazzband-Ball in Warne-Münde, in 2007 they played a 2 week tour in New York City, and in 2008 they played a concert at the national Danish Music Awards show.
