Band - Ruby Jean Rose

Ruby Jean Rose was born in Los Angeles but moved to a small town in the UK called Lewes when she was 12 years old. It was then that she started song writing and performing live. Although Ruby has always been a political and feminist songwriter it was after she found herself in the Gezi Park riots of Istanbul 2013 that her music took an even more political turn. She now lives in Berlin where she performs on the street and at the local venues while travelling to England to record and play gigs.
