Band - The Gecko

The Gecko was born on the dirty streets of Bologna, Italy originally as an electro-acoustic project with Espin on vocals and Moritz playing guitar and producing. They moved to Berlin and transformed into a full band. The sound expanded in an eletro rock direction with Pascal on the drums and "three hands Carsten" playing synths, Mini Moog and vocoder simultaneously. The four elements: spikey guitar riffs, fluid keyboards, dry analogue bass and driving beats are the motor to the machine and when overlain by catchy vocal lines the effect is powerful. The sound is like The Killers attacking Kraftwerk.
